Looking for a story in which Rodney travels to Alternate Universes via a suped-up puddlejumper. He is looking for another version of John because his John died, I think. In one universe, John is a serial killer. Eventually he meets up with a John working as a pilot at a small airport. Rodney comes along and asks John's boss if John can personally give him a pilot lesson. Also, I think in this reality Rodney is considered GQ material (i.e., gorgeous) and John is not.

Looking for a fic where John (I think, but it could be Rodney) has been through this traumatic experience, where he was possibly locked in a box and tortured. It takes a while for him to be rescued, and when he finally gets back to Atlantis, he's really messed up. The one big thing I remember is that he ends up sleeping in his closet for a while.
I think Teyla says a whole bunch of stuff about being a survivor and what that means in the Pegasus galaxy. There's mention of how the tendency on Earth is to view people as victims - that Heightmeyer's way of trying to help (which isn't working) is built entirely around that. But that may be from another fic, I'm not sure.
Any of this sound familiar?

Another fic I'm looking for may or may not be McShep, but it definitely features the team. They're on this planet that apparently has a pest problem with these lizards (? not sure about that part) that are vicious and tend to attack people en masse. The team are underground, I can't remember why, and trying to get to the surface and away from these creatures. I think Rodney is injured, bleeding somehow, and the pests are really going after him and John is desperate to keep him safe from them. It's a really close call but they do finally make it to the surface and then they discover some way of eradicating the vicious lizard creatures - though I don't remember that part clearly enough to describe it. Does this ring any bells for anyone? I know it's a vague description but I'd love to read it again, so if anyone can point the way, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Okay, all I remember about the fic I'm looking for is one particular scene - if I remember correctly, Rodney and Kavanaugh are working on these tanks (maybe desalinisation tanks? I'm not sure) and for some reason, Kavanaugh locks Rodney into the tank. I'm not sure if it was for revenge of some kind, or just Kavanaugh being an asshole, but whatever the reason, Rodney is trapped inside for some time. I might be imagining this bit, because I don't remember it too clearly, but I think Rodney sufferered from claustrophobia and was having real problem with being locked inside a small space, and there also might have been some issue with oxygen running low. He's eventually found, possibly by John, but that's all I remember about the fic itself. Regardless, it's made me want to read it again so, if this description is enough to spark anyone's memory of what fic it's from, I'd be ever so grateful for a link. Thanks!

I am looking for a MacShep story were they are on leave on earth and John takes Rodney to a special hotel were its common for people to in cage in S&M type play. Rodney has been on edge lately and needs to come down but won't ask for it I think. When they first get there John slap Rodney accross the face. This action does not upset Rodney though. Later on John had Rodney naked and on all fours. I can't remember if he is tied up or not and John has Rodney stay that way while the roomservice guy come in. I beleive John has the roomservice guy join them. I am 99% sure that this is not just my imagination. Any help is much appreciated.

I'm looking for two fics I read a long time ago and can't place:
1) Rodney and Daniel are turned into wimmins. Rodney handles it much better than Daniel. Rodney takes to training in martial arts and becomes very good and somewhat of an Amazon spectacle. John is absent for some reason, but they have some awesome/funky conversations on the phone. I don't remember if they ever have a physical relationship or if Rodney gets 'turned back'.
2) For some reason John goes from person to person on Atlantis for any Earth money they may have pocketed and taken to Atlantis with him. I don't know why he does it or who he does it for (I'm thinking Rodney). And really, beyond that? I got nothin'.

I am looking for an older story I believe. I can't remember much of the story beyond the fact that in the story they finally found the real infirmary hidden beside the puddlejumper bay. Rodney tried out one of the machines and it hurt him. No one really believed him that it hurt but later they realized he had been infected and the machine cured him. Hopefully someone can find it from the little bit that I remember. |
